Song Choice

The song my group has chosen to use is 'Sweet disposition' by Temper Trap. We chose this because we already had an idea of a video involving drug use from this skins clip- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbq7O3twUu0&has_verified=1. We then looked for a track that would fit with the idea of drug use, and though this one had a good story of someone who is having troubles in their relationship, which drug use could be a consequence of.

Other songs we considered were:
'Dont trust me' by 3oh!3.
We decided not to use this song because it was a bit too lively and party like, and it sounded too happy for someone who was depressed about a relationship and had resulted to drug use.


'Get the party started' by Pink.
We decided not to use this video, for a similar reason to why we didn't use 'Don't trust me', however we could have used the idea of a party as a celebration and moving on from the relationship.


'Getting over you'- David Guetta
This song could have worked well as it fits well with the theme of a break up in a relationship. However we were unsure how we could incorporate drugs into it.
